Preventive Maintenance are services recommended by the manufacturer of the vehicle at certain mileages or periods of time. These services extend the life of the vehicle's engine, drive train, steering & suspension, brake systems and other major components. Ignoring preventive maintenance services may cause premature failure of these components which could lead to costly repairs. Preventive maintenance services are required for some manufacturer's warranty on the vehicle. If not done some warranties are void.
